Several documents on one case
See how to add several documents, make an appendix read-only, require the contract to be read in full and choose who signs what.
A case can hold several documents, such as a contract with appendices. For each document, you decide whether it must be signed or only read, whether recipients must read all of it, and who signs it.
The video shows all of this on a case with a contract and an appendix. Below, you can read how to do it.
How to do it
- Add the documents. Drag the files into the upload field, or click to choose them. You can also pick documents from your document library.
- Make a document read-only. Untick "Document must be signed". Recipients can then read the document without signing it. Handy for appendices and terms.
- Require the document to be read in full. Turn on the reading requirement if recipients must scroll through the whole document before they can sign.
- Choose who signs. By default, every recipient signs every document. Open the signatories field on a document and choose the people who should sign that one.
- Place the signature. With "Place signatures and fields", you decide exactly where on the page the signature and any text fields go.
Good to know
- You can add up to 25 documents to one case, and each file can be up to 100 MB.
- Placements are used for Touch and SMS + e-mail signatures. Other methods, such as MitID or BankID, are shown on the signature page.
- Drag the documents to change their order, so the recipient sees the most important one first.

PDF, Word, Excel, XML and iXBRL.
