With e-Boks, the Danish digital mailbox, the case arrives in the recipient's digital post instead of an email. That's handy when you don't have an email address, or when the recipient expects the post there.

The video shows how to send a case to e-Boks. Below, the steps are described.

How to do it

  1. Turn on e-Boks. e-Boks requires the integration to be set up under Integrations. You create the e-Boks letter as a template under Communication.
  2. Choose the e-Boks template. When you add a recipient, choose the e-Boks template on the recipient. The card then switches to e-Boks.
  3. Find the recipient. Enter the recipient's address and pick it from the list. If the building has several floors or flats, you then choose the right one. You can also use a CPR or CVR number.
  4. Enter the name. Enter the recipient's name if it should appear in the letter.
  5. See the letter. Under the documents, you see the letter as it arrives in the recipient's e-Boks.
  6. Send the case. Click "Send documents" and confirm. The recipient gets the case in their e-Boks with a link to sign.

Good to know

  • To reach one particular person, the CPR number is the safest choice.
  • If the case can't be delivered to e-Boks, you see it on the case, so you can choose another channel.
  • A case can have some recipients on email and others on e-Boks.

Questions and answers

Can the recipient sign from e-Boks?

Can I send to companies?

Yes. Use the company's CVR number, and the case arrives in the company's digital post.
