See the answers to a form
See what a form looks like to the person filling it in, and where you find the answers under Submissions.
Once a form is published, anyone with the link can fill it in. Each response is saved in NextSign, and you find them all under Submissions.
The video shows the form as it looks to the person filling it in, and how to find and open the answers. Below, the steps are described.
How to do it
- Share the link. You find the link to the form in the form builder under Test & publish. Share it on your website, in an email or a newsletter.
- The person fills in the form. Whoever opens the link answers the questions, enters their name and email, and sends the form. Afterwards, they see your thank-you message.
- Find the response. Under Submissions, every response is listed with the name and time, newest first.
- Search the list. Search for a person or a form, or filter by date, when the list gets long.
- Open the response. Click a response to see all the answers, the documents that belong to it and what has happened along the way.
Good to know
- If the person wrote something wrong, you can correct the answer in the response.
- If the form uses documents, you can create the case straight from the response.
- If the form was sent as personal invitations, you can send a reminder to those who haven't answered yet.
Questions and answers
Can the answers be passed on to our own systems?
Yes. With a webhook, NextSign can notify your systems every time a response is complete.
Can I see colleagues' responses?
The list shows your own by default. If you have access, you can choose a colleague or everyone in the filter.
Can the same person answer more than once?
Yes. Every time the link is used, a new response starts.
